Description

The SCA Brewing Professional Course is designed for coffee enthusiasts, baristas, and coffee professionals who want to deepen their knowledge and skills in the art and science of brewing coffee. This comprehensive course covers various brewing methods, techniques, and factors that influence the quality and flavor of coffee. Participants will learn hands-on brewing skills and gain a thorough understanding of the brewing process from bean to cup.

By the end of the SCA Brewing Professional Course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the fundamentals of coffee brewing and the role of water, grind size, and temperature.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using various brewing methods, including pour-over, immersion, and espresso.
  • Analyze the impact of variables such as coffee freshness, water quality, and extraction on the flavor profile of brewed coffee.
  • Identify and troubleshoot common brewing issues to ensure consistent and exceptional coffee quality.
  • Apply best practices in coffee grinding, measurement, and brewing ratios for optimal extraction.
  • Develop sensory skills to evaluate the aroma, taste, and balance of brewed coffee.

All participants will receive a SCA Brewing Professional Course certificate upon successful completion
